Ice cream, specifically, Ben and Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake! It's the best!

I am a huge fan of the ice cream dinner as well.... or the warm cookies and milk dinner. Esp. when I am depressed.

I LOVE being a grown up!

EWWWWW - I don't really like eggs or peanut butter, so the combo sounds nasty to me. I'll leave that one to you.

I DO so like the pizza, pickles and candy dinner plan.
Tonight I had kettle corn .... but I did have a large late lunch (casserole), so I don't feel too terribly bad about it.

Hear, hear!! This is what I always say. I have many what you could call "favorite dinners". I just went out to eat with friends last night at the only veritable traditional italian restaurant in town. And they have a risotto ai funghi porcini that is orgasmic. It was a religious experience, I kid you not. I think it is my new favorite dinner.

What is in this Italian dish? It sounds ... mushroomy?

Ok .... here is my most decadent, guilty pleasure .... last year, or maybe the year before? ... They opened a Frozen Custard store around the corner. It is called Vans, and it is completely run by the Van family - who are all ADORABLE! The son (whose South American wife just had their first son, and Nancy and Chuck's first grandchild, a boy!) owns the restaurant, and mom, dad and cousins all work there. Chad develops all the flavors. Every day they have Vanilla, Chocolate and One "Flavor of the Day."

Today ... the flavor of the day is my favorite!! Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk ... which is every single bit as good as it sounds, and then some. I'll go in for a scoop (their "1" scoop is 2, their "2" scoop is 3, and their "Large" is something like 5 scoops!). So ... I'll have a scoop there. Then, I'll buy a quart or two. The quarts actually stay in my freezer until they have it on the calendar next. I'll have a spoonful or two every once and a while, but I don't have a bowl until I see it coming up on their schedule again!

So... I've been waiting for weeks for today. I finished all my "reserve" on my birthday - which was 2 weeks ago - because I knew today was coming.

Isn't that just bizarre? It is so insane how much I love this stuff!

and just so that everyone is aware....if you ever have warm cookies and milk around Val, be prepared to share. EVEN IS SHE SAYS SHE DOES NOT WANT ANY BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO BAKE!!!! Because sooner or later she will change her mind. At that point, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT EVERY BITE MUST CONTAIN A CHOCOLATE CHIP or she will throw it at you and call you a suckass!!!

On another note, Brandon and I went for ice cream for the first time in a year. As much as that makes me sad, I must say that my new favorite ice cream is Marshmellow with Heath Bars. YUM!!!

OMG - John

I could have pizza EVERY day and never get tired of it. Never. I LOVE pizza. There are a lot of foods I love..... most of them not at all good for me.

And, for the record - I have only ever thrown a cookie largely lacking in chocolate chips at ONE person - just one. I really am innocent. I was SICK and my thoughtless sister offered me a defunct cookie. How rude! :)
